Over 400 people test drove the latest release of dotCal, now on the iPhone, iPad, Android platforms

Portland, Ore. (August 1, 2011)

Hey folks, dotCal has just added 3 new platforms to the dotCal family of applications. The new iPhone, iPad, and Android apps were premiered at the recent July SF beta invitational meeting, July 12th 2011. It was held at the 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco, California.

Now in its fifth year, SF Beta is San Francisco’s largest and longest-running startup gathering. Taking place every two months, it draws regular sell-out crowds of over 400 founders, VCs, developers, and more. dotCal was invited to the July 12th, 2011 gathering where it introduced its new family of applications.

This was one of our better turnouts and we were glad dotCal was able to attend Christian Perry said,  SF beta Event organizer. Showing off the significant works of companies like dotCal is what we are all about” Perry said.

Looking to enhance communications with their concierges, wineries, hotels, and tour guides, groups like the “Oregon Wine Board”, and “The Concierge Alliance of Napa and Sonoma”, and the “Walla Walla Valley Wine Region” are using dotCal as a solution for event sharing and publishing.

Since dotCal’s public launch in early 2010, dotCal has been working with many innovative businesses in non-profit, hospitality, schools, and related markets across many states.

“dotCal allows customers to communicate directly with their interest groups by leveraging the power of social media and open calendar formats from standards groups like CalConnect. These standards are embraced by many of our partners like Google, Yahoo and Apple.” said Danton Mendell, CEO of dotCal. “We’ve all worked very hard to make this a reality.”
