Hello, and Welcome to dotCal beta I.
You are a true innovator because you realize the importance of managing and sharing time-centric information. We believe this to be one of the next big important trends on the Internet, so congratulations in identifying this very foward-thinking concept. There has been way too much pain in sharing calendars on the Internet and dotCal’s mission is to address this pain by promoting standards, unifying the language, and making it simple to connect... everywhere.
You'll immediately notice that we have created a calendar for you named "My Calendar." Click twice on the "My Calendar" tab, and edit the calendar settings. We suggest you start by renaming the calendar to something you like. Then click OK. If you would like to start entering events into your new calendar, just double click in a calendar box, and you are on your way. Double clicking opens a new event bubble with all it glory. If you want to try a different Calendar view like Week or Day view, just use the slider bar in the upper middle.
You’ll notice some buttons on the upper left. They are for calendar sharing. You’ll discover a lot there. dotCal is all about calendar sharing, its our central theme.
You’ll notice some buttons on the upper right. They are for calendar Views including our List and Multiview. Were still working on the Multiview. Once you click the Multiview button you can click any calendars tabs you have loaded and they will overlay in the dotCal calendar. dotCal is all about innovative ways of viewing calendars, its also a central theme.
We look forward to your feedback & help; we're listening. (:-)
To create a New Event just double click in any calendar box. A window will appear so you can enter the Event date.
To Edit any Event, just click on it to change any of it’s settings.
