What should I do first

First, log into your dotCal workspace by entering your username and password.

After logging in, I'd start by picking a personal theme. You can do this by clicking on the upper right red colored  "themes" link.

There are lots of fun themes to chose from and there are a couple more tabs you can click through that can make your experience better.

1) Click on the "calendar tab" for the calendar you would like to delete.

How do I add an event to a calendar

In any "Grid" view, simply  "double click" in a calendar box or in "List" view click on "Create Event" for that day.

You'll notice a new Event bubble you just created, you can set and edit the Event's settings including Dates, Times, Alarms and Social Networking.

How to share a calendar

If you want to share a Calendar, (Read Only) with a friend, view the calendar you want to share in your dotCal workspace by clicking on its tab.
